Caring for your Tallow Balm

Does your tallow balm seem grainy or look a little melted? 

Because our balm is made with 100% natural ingredients and no synthetic stabilizers or fillers, it responds to temperature just like real food does.

During shipping or storage, especially in warm or fluctuating temperatures, the texture may change. It may feel grainy, firmer than usual, or slightly separated.

These changes are completely normal and do not affect the quality, purity, or effectiveness of your balm.

If the texture has changed, you can easily smooth it out at home:

Place the jar (with lid off) in a clean, heat-safe container.

Gently warm using a double boiler or very low heat until fully melted. Avoid overheating.

Once melted, let it cool slightly, then place the jar in the refrigerator until fully set.

Your balm should return to a smooth, creamy consistency and be ready to use.

After resetting, store at room temperature and avoid frequent hot/cold fluctuations.
