Our Whipped Tallow Balm is crafted with pure and organic ingredients: grass fed tallow and olive oil. The addition of therapeutic grade essential oil creates a soothing experience for all skin types and conditions. Unscented does not contain any essential oil.
Packaged in a 4 or 8 ounce amber glass jar, it is suitable for all ages and backed by the proven benefits of tallow in skincare.
Settling/melting may occur. Store at room temperature or in the fridge. If product is melted upon delivery, just place it in the fridge and it will firm back up.
Ensure your hand is completely dry before scooping out, or use a cosmetic spatula. Do not introduce moisture into the product.
About Our Tallow:
We locally source only the highest quality suet to render into tallow. It is rendered by hand in small batches. Tallow is a skin-nourishing, ancient remedy for skincare. It is abundant in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and is closer to our own skin on a cellular level than any plant based oil. Our skin recognizes it as its own sebum, and readily absorbs it. In fact, the Latin word sebum means tallow!

The first time I used this balm I realized that I had ordered the "wrong" size--I want the bigger one, and more, so I never run out :-). It is softer out of the container than another tallow balm that I got before this one and melts easily when rubbed between the palms and onto the skin. I feel moisturized all day (I used Vaseline and Eucerin before--my skin feels that dry). The lavender smell is a bit strong on application but fades to a "clean beef" smell. It is not offensive at all. My fur babies love it, too :-).
Customer service is great, shipping was really fast, and the packaging is really [I can't think of a better word than] thoughtful.
Thanks to my friend who recommended me this product. It works wonderfully for my dry skin. I love using this on my face and the best part knowing there are only few clean ingredients in it.
